The university has been reviewed by the Equality Ombudsman. The review concerns the university's role as education coordinator and is about the students' work environment. Here you can read a summary of the results:
The Equality Ombudsman has assessed the work we at University West did in 2018.
The feedback shows both strengths and weaknesses.
We need to become better at creating systematics in our work. With the help of annual wheels, we will be able to improve our work with active measures in the daily operations and how we will work with follow-up and evaluation.
In 2021, the university's management team will start implementing improvements that respond to the Equality Ombudsman´s criticism.
-We have received criticism, but we have made improvements since then. This is a help to develop us further and we have already a good job in progress, says the university's Pro Vice-Chancellor Jan Theliander.
