Regulations for award of Swedbanks Ägarstiftelse Väst scholarship 2025

Swedbank, in collaboration with Swedbank's Ägarstiftelse Väst (Swedbank's Ownership Foundation West), has allocated SEK 50,000 for the university to award to students traveling abroad as part of their studies. The funds will be distributed as two scholarships of SEK 25,000 each.

The university intends to allocate these two scholarships for application of exchange period during eight weeks or more. Students at bachelor's and master's levels are eligible.

The scholarships will be awarded during the admission process for exchange studies, where all applicants for exchange placements under the university’s exchange agreements will be considered. Students who receive funding through other scholarship programs administered by the university (such as Erasmus+) will not be eligible. Only students applying for study seats where no other form of funding is available will be considered. The selection process will be based on the motivation letter submitted with the exchange application.

Scholarship recipients are required to attend the graduation ceremony to receive the award and are expected to share a brief account of their experience.

It is considered a merit if the student's study plan is connected to sustainable development goals (SDG) within Agenda 2030.
