Sendfiles is a web service that makes it easy for you to send files that are too large to send by mail. In Sendfiles you can send large files of up to 20.0 GB, to people within and outside University West.
You log in to Sendfiles with your University West account (username and password) and then you can send files. When you send a file, you can choose if the recipient will receive an e-mail message stating that a new file is available and that you want an e-mail message when the recipient has downloaded the file.
Files are automatically deleted from Sendfiles 14 days after you upload them, so you do not need to delete anything manually.
If you are a student or employee of the university and want to ask someone outside the university to send you files, you can make the process much easier for them by logging in with your University West account and then click on the "Request a Drop-off" button. This means that other persons must not identify themselves. This is making the whole process much faster for them. Such a request for someone to send you a file will remain for 7 days.
If you are not a student or an employee at the university, you cannot log in, but you can still send files to people at the university. Click the "Drop-off" button and then follow the instructions.
