If you have a disability, for example dyslexia a visual impairment, hearing loss or ADHD, and would like to study at University West, we can provide you with targeted study support during your studies.

In order to receive support, you must have a certificate stating that your disability is permanent or long-term. If you have a documented disability and need targeted study support in your studies, follow the link to find more information about how to apply for support.

For those with dyslexia or other reading difficulties, TorTalk is installed on all library computers, which is a text-to-speech program.
TorTalk is a reading tool that can read out loud all kinds of text at your computer screen. It works for all ebooks, locked PDF files and text within scanned images. Of course also for webpages and word processing tools. The program is free to install on your private computer.
