The course TVB100 in manufacturing technology aims to give the student an insight into the following manufacturing methods:
  • Casting such as sand casting, precision casting, and die casting.
  • Metal forming methods such as bending, deep drawing, hydroforming, and forging.
  • Machining processes such as drilling, milling, and turning.
  • Nontraditional methods such as laser and water jet cutting.
