"As an R&D engineer at Sandvik Coromant, I work with analyzing data and doing mathematical modeling. A large part of the data that I am working with is measurement data which comes from sensors.

In my PhD, I have worked extensively with this type of data and have developed my skills. Besides that, I have learned how to do research in an academic way which is very useful in my work. It has also helped me expanding my network in the academic community, which is important in my role as a researcher (one expectation from my role is to have a connection with universities in case we need collaboration)."
