Jonas Holmberg about Sicomap

"My current work role at RISE Research Institute is in line with my PhD research.  I have continued working on the different processes and analysis in future applications. My work role is to support the Swedish manufacturing industry with my competence regarding surface integrity investigations.

My PhD supported my work in the sense of allowing me to develop my skills in preparing, analyzing and drawing conclusions from research investigations. I also developed my skills in performing and disseminating the research. The PhD has also broadened my network – today I have new collaborations with different academic institutions. Lately I also was involved in teaching as a part of an industrial Chalmers course."
